Vince LaMarca

A retired police officer from Long Beach, New York, serving from 1969 through 1989, Mr. LaMarca held the rank of Lieutenant and served in all capacities of law enforcement from the "cop walking the beat" to Executive Officer, second in command of the department. In addition, Mr. LaMarca worked in the positions of Detective, Street Supervisor, Desk Officer and Commanding Officer of the Fugitive Squad. After a brief retirement, Mr. LaMarca began working with the Department of Defense as the Loss Prevention Manager overseeing several military bases in Afghanistan. He has since retired in November of 2008.

Stu Krell

A retired Detective from the Miami Dade Sheriff's Department, Mr. Krell served for 26 years and has investigated numerous homicides, robberies, burglaries, sex offences & narcotic violations. During his career, he was a member of the Special Response Team (SWAT), and was a lead investigator & negotiator in many hostage situations. He was also trained to repel from floor to floor with weapons. Mr. Krell was trained & received the following credentials: Metropolitan Police Institute of Criminal Justice, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement & FBI School for Advanced Law Enforcement Studies.

Samantha Kievman

Samantha Kievman is a Lieutenant with the City of Pompano Beach Fire Department with over 16 years experience. She holds Associate Degrees in Fire Science and Emergency Medical Technologies along with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership. She is a Florida State Certified Fire Instructor III and Hazardous Materials Technician. Lieutenant Kievman has been a licensed Paramedic since 1993, BLS and CERT Instructor, as well as a Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Explorer Advisor. She also has attended various specialized training seminars, symposiums and "Hands On" practical experience drills on a variety of Fire Rescue related topics, including Dive Rescue, Rope Rescue Technician and Vehicle Extrication.

Richard Banyas

Richard Banyas is a retired Battalion Chief from the City Of Pompano Beach. He has over 34 years of firefighting experience and 30 years of loyal and successful service to Pompano Beach at progressive levels of responsibility. He was honored as Firefighter of the Year in 1989. He was among the first group of professionals officially certified as Paramedics by the State of Florida. Chief Banyas is a state certified Hazardous Materials Technician, BLS instructor and holds an Associate's Degree in Fire Science. He planned and conducted in-service training programs for Special Operations, Incident Command and other firefighting disciplines for Pompano Beach Fire Rescue.

Lawrence Wood

Lawrence Wood is an active police detective in Palm Beach County. He has been on active duty for 17 years. He has been named "Officer of the Year" in the past, and is currently working as a member of the Federal Marshalls U.S. Task Force and the Sexual Offenders Division in Palm Beach County. Detective Wood has extensive knowledge in forcible door entry systems.

Mitchell Grossman

Mr. Grossman is currently working for the City Of Pompano Beach Fire Rescue. He has been a career Firefighter and a Licensed Paramedic since 2002. He holds the current positions of driver, engineer, paramedic and fire fighter. He is 2nd in command of his crew. Mr. Grossman has taken numerous ongoing fire-related educational classes in confined space rescue, trench shoring, hazmat vehicle extrication, flash-over awareness and gallons/seconds.
